We just completed three days of good old WordCamp Europe, and for a virtual conference I have to give it a full five out five stars.
BigScoots: Personal. Expert. Always There. That’s Real Managed Hosting.
The sessions were great, the platform, Hublio, is really a pleasure to navigate. I was able to run through quickly, easily, message, and meet people. As much as I love in-person conferences, it is amazing to see how easily people all over the world can so easily take advantage of such an important conference.
I did get the change to speak on Invisible CMS but the show stopper really was the closing interview with Matt Mullenweg by Brian Krogsgard. Matt has a link to the video, and an open thread to add additional questions, WCEU Open Thread: “So this is an open thread, if you have any question from the talk please drop it in the comments here, and myself or someone in the community will respond! We’ll keep this open for a day or so.”
But wait, there’s more, WCEU2022 was announced! From the blog announcement, Welcome to WordCamp Europe 2022: “We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Europe 2022 is officially on the calendar! […] We are hopeful that we will be able to gather safely in 2022. To that end, and with hearts full of hope, we have already booked the Super Bock Arena (Pavilhão Rosa Mota) in Porto for 2 – 4 June 2022.” That’s right, back in-person, I can’t wait to catch up with everyone in Porto, Portugal.
