RSS Readers Rejected From the App Store

This story is slightly bonkers to me. First, Apple (anyone), my RSS feed is absolutely allowed to be included by any RSS reader. Second, not only does my publishing of a feed imply permission, anyone who publishes anything not behind a paywall, provides explicit permission.

I wonder how they expect you to document this permission. For what it’s worth, I hereby give permission for any RSS reader to include my feed URL.

An RSS reader is just another browser. Remember the great internet rule of privacy (content), if you don’t want people seeing anything you write, don’t post (email, photograph, record) it.
