This is very exciting for the first tier of email plugins in the WooCommerce and WordPress space. MailPoet is acquired by WooCommerce: “WooCommerce stores can look forward to improved features to reach their customers in the near future. Similar to Constant Contact and MailChimp, MailPoet provides easy to use and flexible email and newsletter management. The Pot of Coffee and Morning Coffee newsletters having always used MailPoet. As much as I like MailPoet, I don’t think that MailPoet today compares to solutions like Omnisend, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or Jilt but I can imagine that WooCommerce will be investing in that kind of integration.
